Maybe Tasmania Pinot Noirs. (just the best!!:))
It'd be Tasmania Crayfish. not lobsters. ;)

Tasmania Not Victorian,

Tasmania should 100% have a team! It's a bloody football state!!

Devils is good... I don't know about the state colours 🤔 but that's for the Tasmanian people to decide.

Thylacines good.
Devils.
Tasmanian Woodsmen
I was thinking of Woodchoppers but Woodsmen similar.
I could be wrong, but I believe wood chopping as a sport largely started in Tassie clearing the bush there.
Tassie Pioneers or Wood choppers i quite like.
Go the Choppers!!!

I'd like to see them come up with something new & unique that hasn't been used before.

Devils is the obvious one but why be as expected ??

I'm not an expert on all things Tassie but surely there is something that the island state is known for but hasn't been used as a monkier for a sports team yet ??

There is a lizard in Tassie (it is elsewhere too) called a 'Rankinia' but it is best known as a 'Mountain Dragon' which may be something to use ??

Don't forget, they have a quoll and a large freshwater crayfish as well.

Axemen ??

People, you're over thinking this a bit.

KISS principle.

The Tasmanian Devil is an animal. Not a Demon.

Tassie Devil would be just fine.

I'd buy 100 memberships if they called the team the "Tasmanian Crayfish"

What about salmon? Has a ring to it. Theres also quolls and wombats, but they're kinda awkward. Wallabies is good but there's already the kangaroos, so if you're gonna go so similar to an existing team you might as well go devils.

I still think devils would be fine, the branding and mascot will be easily differentiated. Certainly at least as much as eagles, crows and magpies.

Just no 'concepts' or things like that. They're always so contrived and meaningless. If it does need to be not an animal, it should be like mariners, ports, fishers or something like that, thats still an actual thing.
