Nicknames for Bombers players!!!

It took the 1st game to recollect all the different nicknames for the Dons that I have spouted out over the years. Aside from the obvious ones here are a few more.

Watson - Matrix, as when he gets the ball in a pack time slows down around him. He is so cool under heaps of pressure.

McVeigh - Spike, from his bad haircut days.

Lucas - Clamps (this is a new one). He has become this over the last season. Early on in his career he was unable to take a contested mark, and recently he is able to grab everything that comes his way.

My friends and i call Mark McVeigh, Timmy (Timothy McVeigh, Oaklahoma bomber).

Not very nice, but it's supposed to be taken in light humour.

Dennis Cometti is an absolute classic - in the Freo game he said something like:

".....kicks to McVeigh, the aptly named Bomber...."
