So what's wrong with opposition supporters coming on there and talking about something, posting in the social pages, etc?

I frequent a West Ham United forum, there's a good Manchester City supporter, a good Nottingham Forest one, some Tottenham supporters, etc....it makes for good discussion. They know if they step out of line, they'll cop the wrath.

What's wrong with it is simple. They aren't wanted. It's a Collingwood forum for Collingwood supporters only.

There are a few opposition supporters who post their infrequently and identify themselves. They're tolerated but that's it.

It's just a different set up and it's always been that way. If you don't like it don't go there. I prefer Nicks to Big Footy and that's not intended as a criticism of here, I also prefer steak to chicken. I like them both, they're different, but I prefer Steak.

The RaRa from the likes of Donny Deadshit who dont like criticism is what got on my goat the most!

Nicks was good in the early days, but it is pathetic now.

Might be time for a someone to steal their thunder and setup their own website and forum. Keep the crap like Donny, Hiss, Jack Spain, Piesnchess etc out though.

Donny can be a Pain up the Ass at times.

When I joined in 2005 it was good but now it's just full of Bullies. Still some nice Posters but some have been Driven Away

I post on both Nicks & BF, under the same name. I joined both boards at the same time. I post on both, because you get different points of view and perspectives on each. If a thread's full of dickheads or infighting, I just don't bother reading it, same as with BF. My philosophy is pretty much to ignore the idiots, as I can't be bothered wasting my time on them, and participate in the stuff I find interesting.

I agree, NicksBB was great once upon time. Not anymore though.

Nicks certainly has its fair share of the typical keyboard warriors.

I'm sure all forums have their good and not so good posters, who all have their good and not so good days.

I don't think this thread is completely equitable in the way they have limited right of reply and we are all pretty passionately supporting the same team anyway - side by side from memory - so might just close this at this stage.
