St Kilda brought flair and excitement to its inaugural list after signing small forward, Nicola Xenos.

A speed and endurance machine, the Oakleigh Chargers product won the 30m sprint and came second in the 2km trials at this year’s draft combine.

The former basketballer was a part of Collingwood’s 2019 VFLW Premiership side, amassing 10 disposals to be one of the best players in the final game of the season.

Xenos' ability to run through the midfield makes her an incredibly damaging player, and when combined with her unrelenting hunt for the footy, the Vic Metro representative is more than a handful for the opposition to deal with.

While small in stature, Xenos’ vivacity at the contest could see her pack a punch in Season 2020.

The future is looking bright at RSEA Park with St Kilda locking away four of its most exciting young AFLW stars until at least the end of Season 2022.

Emerging talents Olivia Vesely, Molly McDonald, Nicola Xenos and Tarni White have recommitted to the red, white and black for another two years following sensational debut seasons at the elite level.

Xenos will also take plenty from her first season after getting better with each and every game. The lightning quick small forward found her place at the feet of key target Caitlin Greiser and led the way with her tackling pressure.

Rosie Dillon, Tarni White and Nicola Xenos will form an Emerging Leaders group, a new addition to the Saints’ AFLW program.
