WEST Coast chief executive Trevor Nisbett believes the Eagles' dramatic form slump is linked to the club's off-field problems and subsequent national exposure as a team with social problems.
amazing article that one
must of put heaps of thought into it

"We'll need to win 11 or 12 of the remaining 16 games and we'll be striving to do that."

The Weagles were in "public-denial" over their rampant spiraling out-of-control endemic drug culture for about 4 years at least . They put commercial interests ahead of player welfare, and that is the real tragedy here, not the post-Judd post-Cousins Weagleland ladder slide. This is a classic example of the downside of a soul-less regional marketing outfit like the Weagles, rather than a truly great footy Club like Carlton with soul, character and tradition. Have they changed? Not convinced. :)
