I'm on the top level interstate membership...quite shocked to find out I still have to pay for one game in Perth out of the two. We used to get both, that was the whole point of it. Disappointing IMO.
I do get grand final tix entitlement, but let's be honest that's not a factor.
I know it's really just a donation, but nonetheless you do expect a bit better.
I'll keep paying, but am sure others won't.

Disappointed with home crowd today as a North supporter sat on level 2 quite full in parts but amazed with support the lions had must have had at least 3k to 4K supporters there which means 19k to 20k North supporters maybe our supporters need to pull there finger out and start attending games.
Plus I don't want to hear the crap supporters had kids footy on which hasn't started yet or the start time of the game or the bad weather was to blame the roof was shut so no more excuses.
Keep this up and I can see the club selling another game to Hobart.
So supporters the next 2 home games against the Crows who have a good following should attract 30k plus then the Good Friday game against the Red and Black Drug club should pack the place out and if this dosnt happen this will the last Good Friday game North will be involved in.

The membership department during the majority of my time as a member (22 years) have been disgraceful.

But from 2011 or so through to last year they were quite good. What has happened? New staff? Less staff? It’s worse than ever and it was pretty bad in the early 2000’s

We already are a 2 bit club. Why do you think we’ve been in the same 10 year loop? Thousands of members and subsequent supporters have dropped off because of the coach, and the same tired old shenanigans from the club.

Poor value for money, less and less every year, getting the basics wrong, taking us for granted and for fools. We just sit back and take it unfortunately.

I would now expect said medallions to be mailed out to those who are due them, a bit of courtesy would not go astray, these do not go to minimum spend 3 game members etc, just wear the postage cost, and possibly include an apology with it.

Probably a waste of my time and effort, but as a 36 conscutive years member, i shall be sending an E-Mail to Ben Buckley with a list of my complaints.

Yes... Im just talking about tlhe two Perth games. I'm never going to get to five games in Melb.

I was on a Vice Presidents Coterie membership which cost me $5000 to join then $5000 per year to be a member. It gave me access to all Melbourne games but nothing for the one WA interstate game where I lived. Before joining I was sent an email by the Coterie manager Graham Osborne saying that if I joined as an interstate coterie member, they'd look after me and provide me access to the game in WA, room access before and after the game, a seat at the Chairmans function in WA before the game etc. Being cashed up and wanting to support the club I joined, I received my membership ticket, the Coterie manager changed and Mark Roberts took over. In the lead up to the first North game in WA I called the club on numerous occasions to find out what was occuring with my WA ticket, dinner and room access. I finally received a call back from Mark Roberts who explained that my membership only game me access to Melbourne games, that If I wanted to go to the WA game i'd have to try my luck on Ticketmaster like everyone else. I explained to him my agreement with Osborne, and I forwarded my email to the Fridge. He responded that they couldn't honour the agreement as the tickets allocated to the club were gone, the seat at the WA Chairmans function had already been allocated. I told him I wasn't f***ing happy with the treatment, he said he'd see what he could do. I received a ticket for the game and finally a ticket for the Chairmans function. On the day of the function I turned up to find that I'd been shunted into a corner of the table, was questioned by one of the north people on the table, when I explained who I was I received a comment about how someone had to hand back their ticket to the Chairmans function to allow me to attend.

Well after that treatment, plus the addtional membership issues others have mentioned on here, I have decided that my hardearned cash is best kept in my pocket rather than the clubs.

they ran out of scarves at gate 5 at 1/4 time and took people address' down to send out.... didn't know the club had so much money to spend to send out packs via post all because someone didn't add the numbers to get enough scarves. Club feels like it has totally gone backwards

I’ve said it a few times over the last decade or so (as have other posters such as Zondor) but this club is based in Melbourne and has decided – as of 2019 – that attendance is optional at 7 of 11 home games. Then they have the nerve to ask supporters to turn up. It seems incredibly naïve, the message out of the club, the visceral message, not the PR one says that Melbourne attendance doesn’t matter that much. This club has spent the better part of 2 and a half decades actively trying to disengage with attendees at Melbourne games. I don’t think they have yet to understand the massive long term damage that comes from this. It is dangerous in the extreme to keep taking games from Melbourne supporters and expect things to improve. It won’t, how can it when year on year there are less opportunities to attend? Bottom line, this club doesn’t turn up to a 3rd of its home games in Melbourne – but wants the fans to do so every week. This club is meek in the media and off field – and the fans are in the outer as well.

They need to lead and people will follow but at the moment they’re continuing a process of gambling with our future.

On field they gamble with selection and wait for a superstar from elsewhere to save them. Off field they gamble with heartland supporters (not just in Victoria either) while pleading for people to turn up. We have and are developing a culture of supporters that only see us on TV (sometimes for those that aren’t passionate and don’t have Fox or streaming) – this isn’t a longterm business plan.
