No Oppo Supporters NMFC 2019 Membership Thread

My latest dealings with the Membership Department.
On Saturday several of us received emails from the Club with offer to "Upgrade to Reserve Seat for just $15" for the Richmond game.
Tried to do the upgrade from 1.30 PM Saturday didn't work. Contacted Club on Monday and was told they would check it out and get back to us.
After 24 hours of non contact, had to email them. Received reply that it was Ticketmaster problem and to contact Ticketmaster.
Now I know why all those opposition supporters get seats in the North Reserved area at our home games.

They are actually in breach of contract and this wouldn’t stick if you took it to the ACCC.

Abysmal. Pathetic. Unprofessional.

My daughter Billie, got her first letter in the mail today. Proud to say it was from the club. It was a birthday card. Given her birthday isn’t till the 13th June I am impressed. Club turning around both on and off field !!

That's good so next Victorian home game we should get between 14k to 18k members attending the game unless the 3 game members decide to attend then that will be at 20k+ members.
We can have 100k+ members but if members don't attend home or away games in Victoria it means nothing.
We have a 50k stadium at Marvel we should be getting 40k+ to home games in Victoria even with oppersition supporters being there.

No one's accountable if the departments business plan falls under budget.
Just make up the shortfall by asking the generous and committed fans for more cash.

I was at the Pies v Dogs game at Marvel yesterday, we arrived a little late and the only wing GA seats available were scattered in the clouds.

But then the lady checking tickets at the aisle entrance said: You're free to sit in the Collingwood Reserved Away Bays so long as we vacate if someone with a ticket comes along.

I have mixed emotions about this. It allowed us to get some pretty good seats and it just makes logical sense to fill in the gaps when the stadium is busy. But at the same time I would hate it if i were a pies supporter. I assume this is what some ppl on here have been complaining about?

Just a question a week in advance - given the Essendon game is not a replacement game, we won't be offered the reserve seat free upgrade option. I assume we may need to buy a reserve seat to get in, as it's going to be nearly full? Hate giving my money to the filth.

I'll be just walking in and standing with my regular membership.

Not sure about the other clubs but dont underestimate how many Tassie members we have. This is where our membership increases are.

Over the last few years my family has increased it membership numbers by 50%. (2 new bubs.)
