It’s priorities and NMFC get their turn when it’s Season time

I should probably quit while I am already behind, but just wanted to clarify a couple of things. I don't really care if or when the club gets money from supporters, it is great when we can chip in but I don't think the club should feel entitled to anything.

My interest was more of an accounting or financial planning perspective, if income and expenses are relatively constant over a 12 month period (without going further and further into debt) then people have some capacity to adjust the timing somewhat if they so desire.

When someone I know who works in IT sees me do anything with my computer they instinctively say I can do this and that to change how I do things different or better in their opinion. Sometimes I just prefer doing what I am accustom to. I didn't mean to pry, it is just habit for people who have a professional curiosity.

The Membership is not the only cost

That’s why I get meh about it when the Club pressures about paying; there are the costs of actually attending the game

If were 3,000 behind from this time last year how much is that in lose revenue? If we averaged out all the memberships would we even cover the extra Tassie game that netted us $500,000?

My point relates to any static annual expense be it insurance or rates or whatever, with the same annual income and same annual expenses people have the option to flatten out the spikes so they don't get hammered in any particular month if they so desire.

However, in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter how you do things if you are happy doing things the way you do them.

Yeh I do that; fortnightly deductions on practically everything

An average 3 Game Adult Membership costs $99 and probably a good number to use as an approximate to multiply 3,000 by. Sure there will be 11 Game Memberships. Adults, Juniors and Concession Memberships all not renewed as yet. All with varying values. Additionally there will be those who are still members but have downgraded Memberships or will do so. The 4th Home Game in Tasmania is "looking" like a Financial Bust at this stage. :stern look

Hey we can only compare our current Membership Number with that of this time last year. Only a very solid start to the season will see us claw back the current "churn" IMO. :stern look

The club effectively incentivises people to renew as last as possible so what's the rush?

That cut-off date is hyperbole. Last season one of our group was relinquishing their seat so a friend rang the Club,AFTER THE SPECIFIED CUT OFF DATE, and asked for the seat to be assigned to them. Was told that the original seat holder needed to contact the Club first and confirm they no longer needed it.

No way I am paying $550 for 7 games with reserved seats until I know the seating arrangements for the replacement games.
Have MCC membership so can get Level 2 seats for $48. Loyalty goes two ways and imo, Club is ditching loyal members for shot term profit.

It's a lot of money isn't it. Assuming you go to all seven games, 80 bucks for a reserved seat is a bit silly isn't it.
