I just called the club and was advised that I’m not on a digital membership and that it was an error, emails were wrong.
However it would make sense that they could use this as a back up should the cards not arrive in time.
What a huge balls up.

Your membership number remains the same year on year. You should be able to quote that number. I guess maybe the barcode stays the same too.
