Can't agree mate

There is a reason that Gill keeps saying he wants one team in tassie.
Because the states not big enough for the current arrangement. Pretty sure they detailed that Hawks crowds have been falling since we started playing in Hobart.

Have some faith in the club. We ain't going anywhere

2019 - North Melbourne and Geelong
2020 - Gold Coast Richmond West Coast Richmond StKilda

Gold Coast, seriously? How about they get the men's team solid first hey?

that great for North. normally north are at the bottom of the queue .
take it as a win for the club not look for negatives

I think we'd be well served to use a healthy bit of scepticism

I have faith in the club, not the league.

North has led the way already with its Next Generation Academies (NGAs) in Tasmania currently boasting an incredible 29 percent of participants across all clubs.

“For our members and fans it means a new level of inclusion and growth,” Dilena said.

Would hope we would get first look at melb uni team and the tassie girls we've been coaching for years.

Well done to everyone at the club on the bid.

I think it is also great for Tasmania.

Overall im happy with the news, but I just don't like the fact we can't get anything without conditions.

The Tassie link worries me a bit.

We are linked to tassie regardless of the aflw team. It's our designated academy zone.

The AFLW team isn't changing that.

No it doesn't.

The problem is that it roots the club to Tasmania in the minds of the public. The fact that we are discussing it is testament to that.

You can say who cares what opposition supporters say or think but it's relavent. It's now part of our public image and these things play a part in the decisions of supporters, sponsors and potentially recruits. Not everyone scrutinises every word that Buckley says, they see that we have put a larger footprint in Tasmania and draw conclusions from that.

We are looking like a shared custody club.

Like I have said it is a further tether to Tassie which consolidates us there. They have granted GC a 2020 licence, so they aint going anywhere. We have to be very wary of the AFL, particularly if the deluge of media spouting relocation kicks in, crowds in Vic will fall and the AFL will twist and bend every available rule to ship us off if it suits them.

Now the competition is worth following.

Good luck to all girls who wear the Royal Blue & White Vertical Stripes (they better be wearing Royal Blue & White) of the North Melbourne-Tasmania Kangaroos.
