Well my daughter was excited with the news and that's what I care most about. Previously she'd tell me she doesn't care about AFLW "because we're not in it!" Upon hearing the latest news she summoned her brother to the backyard for kick to kick.

Hopefully little TT can catch a couple of away games when they visit the mainland.

Funding for the requirements for a VFL ground i.e the change rooms etc will be far easier to acquire with the womens team as a carrot as well.

Therefore if tassie have a problem with the team being called north Melbourne they can get stuffed.

Who will be choosing the coaches and staff members? Who will pay the bills or reap the profits? What jumper will they wear? How many games will they play at Arden Street? Hardly just a Tassie team.
