She always played the game to be on the same level as her male peers.
Tackling, bumping, shepherding were and are her forte.
What Malthouse said would have annoyed her and considering the short fuse she has I’m not surprised to her walk out. Not one to piss off

Interesting to read the varying media reports. Hun printing plenty about Moana's approach to the event - on the phone, constantly looking at her watch, disinterested etc. Age has no mention of any alleged poor attitude from Moana. Have Mcd many, many of these events over the years and never seen anyone walk out despite the voracity of any discussion. Media won't let this go so will be very interesting to see what happens next.

I think Mick is entitled to his opinion but i think he could have worded it differently. Personally, I don't like AFWL at all. Its boring as and i think its going to become a dud the way its going. AFL is a very physically demanding sport and females bodies aren't built the same as males, that is a fact. So i do think they need to at least tweak the rules and the game to make it more suited to the league (shorter quarters etc) but what would i know lol

Malthouse has been a fixture on the VFL/AFL landscape for more than 40 years, and a fine contributor to the sport.

She's clearly already a great Shinboner who has a thorough understanding of what this club stands for and what it represents in the community. I'm delighted to see that the Shinboner culture is already ingrained in Mo.

Looking forward to seeing her run out in the royal blue and white for the first time, as part of a team of trailblazers who will be the forerunners for a great North Melbourne institution that will exist at Arden Street in perpetuity thereafter.
