When the AFL give the Red and Black drug club and the Bush hicks the new licences for 2019 season the next licences will be given to Shitmond and the Shit and Gold club- Hawthorn in 2021 so I dare say we wait to 2026 by then it would 10 years the AWFL would be running by then and with it being the 10th year the AFL will give a Gold premiership cup to the premiers it kind of would look good next to our 1996 AFL Centenary Gold Premiership cup with Boomers daughter winning the BOG in the Grand Final.

Still early days to determine the viability of such a team. I don't consider it a tragedy if we don't get a WAFL license. We need to focus on our VFL side.
Our revenue is small and I'd be concerned if it forced us into the red.

One would assume, if we've submitted - and will resubmit another - application that there is a solid business case as part of it. Therefore, it'd be pretty dumb to submit an application that doesn't consider risk and/or 'forces us into the red'. If it's not a solid business case, then the AFL will rightly reject it. (Actually, they'll wrongly reject it, but that's a whole 'nother story.)

Good to hear Boomer talk up the notion of a 'father-daughter' rule. However, we all know what will happen...

The year that Lacie is the only possible 'father-daughter' candidate in the AFLW draft, they'll change the criteria to reflect that the father must have played a minimum of 450 games.

Dude, seriously. Football players are scantily clad by most definitions, either male or female. Whether that happens to add to the appeal of the sport is entirely up to the individual and is not the province of right-thinking. Besides, I do not begrudge any woman (or man) who is attracted to the men's game due to the opportunity to admire the physique of the men playing. They are not sexist, they are human.
