Because the level of financial and other support our team gets is something these women can only dream of, and I’m happy for them to be rewarded for what they put in and for their governing bodies to hopefully have more impetus to get behind them.

Fair comment, but they probably get the same level of governing funding, it's just where is the money going. A bit like the West Indies, they're getting the same governing funds, but who's pocket is it going into. I think our girls have been fantastic for a long time and deserve the respect for it. I don't really care about anyone else, as I'm sure they wouldn't waste time sniping at us if/when we're on the receiving end.

when I first got to aussie I thought they had to use XXXX as a label because it wasn't legally beer

ps shame the English tail has wagged a bit. Also watched Archer bowl the other day.. he looked pretty impressive
But not sure a 50 over series is much of a guide for an ashes series. The pitches nibble a bit here in Oct/Nov and poms have batted first

And I reckon they robbed him of significant distance because it hit the sign on the roof (going over), where ball tracking had it falling inside the stadium

I reckon the ashes will be real close . England has the better batting line up but the Aussies are ahead with the bowling. I think if England start well and can keep a healthy squad they are in with a real chance.
A fit bowling attack with the likes of Archer, Wood, Carse, Atkinson & Stokes who has his pace back again can do some real damage and one bowler who really impresses me and shouldnt be underestimated is Tongue. Keep an eye on this bloke. He can be a bit wayward at times but he has some real quick pace and bowls some real jaffers. He hits the stumps a lot , takes wickets and caused Smith a few problems in the last ashes with some brilliant deliveries that dismissed him..
