At least we have a new opener
First day of the women's test match vs South Africa tomorrow at the WACA.

I was planning to be there as my 8yo son was signed up to play on the ground during the lunch break but the forecast is for 42 degrees so they've cancelled it. Bummer.
Will the kids still be allowed to play if the test is cancelled though?

Tom Rogers (Vic v NSW] with one of the best centuries you'll ever see, 196 off 142 and out in the 47th over.
caught the last 30 or so runs, shattered when he fell before the double

Apparently a fantastic day for bowling in the west

I watched the 1st 4 overs of South Africa before going to work.

There was 2 wickets and 2 dropped catches. There was good bounce and a little swing but the batting techniques were terrible

good recovery from Healey and Mooney though

We watched most of the innings. I can tell you it didn't improve.

However at 3/16 earlier it looked like Australia might have been lucky to avoid the follow on.

They have hit the lead though.

Why not both? The Cott?
The Cott and I have this love hate relationship since my 20’s…

I still love her but she really hates me

NSW with a decent 50 odd opening partnership, until a quick 5 wickets leaves them 74/5 against the vics

Jadeja absolutely burning India's version of Mark Cosgrove, Sarfaraz Khan who was on was 62 off 66 balls on debut while on he was on 99 then bringing up his century the next ball was a classic alpha move by the veteran.

i cant remember which match it was, but i think it was BBL, where the commentators were baffled by positioning a fiedler on the fence directly behind the keeper, "what do you even call that position?!"

it's f*cken long stop, how do you not know that?
