He has 6 more first-class wickets than Murphy from 5 more innings at a slightly higher average. If Murphy doesn't take wickets then Corey doesn't either.

You couldn't be further from the mark here, 9 wickets and BOG on a green seamer that only saw one wicket fall to a spinner that wasn't Rocchiccioli. He's rocketed in to 5th spot for shield wickets and 7 clear of the nearest spinner. Murphy looked terrible in Sri Lanka and just as toothless in his return to shield, it was an absolute blunder by the Aussie selectors. 73 wickets compared to 32, over double Todds wickets in the last two seasons.
