They advertised some slop in the breaks between overs last night. Or in one case, in the break where there was a no ball called after the over was over.

Is it fair to say the commentary team is hoping for a SA win?
They did just challenge whether there really was any bat on that LBW.

Conclusion: Ultra Edges is bullshit.

The batter took ages to request the review - if he thought he hit it why didn't he review immediately?

Even Pietersen said this.

And that "spike"... That's not a spike!

Thought we had a defendable amount, but never would've predicted a first innings lead of 74!

The SAffer handled the ball and the umps soft cocked it
I wonder if the Aussies actually appealed. It looked like a couple might have asked the question.i can't see how an umpire could deny the wicket if an appeal was made.

The saffer certainly flicked the ball to ground so that suggests he knew he got some bat on it.

The funny thing is that sometimes these things change the fortune of the game. Like the earlier LBW where the spike didn't look like the normal sharp spike that is associated with the edge of the bat. Who knows, if the wicket falls, maybe the next guy comes in and goes on to make 100 or more.

As it is, maybe karma played a part.
