You might be alone. None of the Poms I know think they will. My guess is England win possibly two tests with breathtaking ludicrous batting performances, lose two with comedy ludicrous batting performances and lose another because their bowling is hideously fragile (physically and mentally) post Broad/Anderson and our batting actually fires. With these two teams it might take 2.5 days of rain to get a draw.
Poms win Perth, Aus win 3-1, Sydney washed out

My physio replaced the usual warmup with a certain kind of supplement that was all the rage in the VFL at the time apparently. I found that they worked wonders when used in conjunction with a few puffs on the Ventolin - no need to warm up before the game at all.

And before anybody reports me to WADA, that was in the days of "anything goes", not "whatever it takes"!

I don't know of any current day physio with that kind of prescriptive solution these days.

Rocchiccioli with another 5 in the first innings against the Vic's, now sitting second on the wickets tally. Easily the best spinner in the country after Lyon.
Another 5fa for WA against QLD today

Hazelwood officially out of the 1st test.

Neser joining the squad.

Doggett likely to make his debut.

Meanwhile, in India, it's almost a 2 day test!
Gotta love Indian wickets.

FFS, I like to see SA getting flogged but sometimes it's necessary to say FFS. If I was the SA tour boss I'd be telling the team to pack their bags and be on the red-eye back to Jo'burg.

Screw the Indian cricket board.

You understand that the Safas would be turning their back on their most lucrative tour? Yeah unlikely, I'd have thought.

Let's say the ICB dusts off 10mil USD to bring them to their shores. Can you honestly see the SA board turning their back on near 40,000,000 Rand!?

Ja shet, I just cornt see it personally, ma China.

It is a deadset shocker. Inconsistent bounce (near gutter balls v steep bounce) on the first session on the first day is shockingly bad.

Just waiting for the poor rating and the Indians sooking to get the rating reversed, like they have before.

When you put it that way...

Does Philanderer still play for the yarpies?

Nope. He's 40 years old, Nate.

But 36 year old Simon "Wendy" Harmer has just taken 2 further wickets.

SA need 5 wickets.
India need 80 odd runs.

I almost want to watch just to see them at 9/122 and Gill decides to bat for the win but gets "timed out" while hobbling out to the middle.

But I can't be bothered.
