Nah, this is a 400 pitch. It is actually pretty flat. The Aussies gifted the Poms at least 5 wickets today and kept them in the game.

Obviously full credit to him but his dumb dismissal could also be a pretty big turning point. Going into tomorrow with him.and Starc at the crease would have been ideal, instead we're probably all out for under 350 and England batting by 11am

The view in England of their team before the series was that they needed a fast start to get ahead and build confidence. They are a very good side when their confidence is up. When they are under the pump and chasing any kind of competitive score it tends not to go so well.* They are low on confidence and under pressure. If we get anywhere 350+ they will need 500+ to put us under real pressure. I just do not see it happening.
