Mate I feel sorry for the caterers and people who work casual, they were reasonably expecting 3-4 maybe 5 days work. What’s going to happen to all the left over food? There were 92,000 people there today, let’s say they were catering for 40,000 for the remainder of the test, that is a LOT of food

There are agreements in place for redistribution of food, ie Secondbite with the mcg.

The pitch was too green and would have been suicide putting a spinner on that deck but the shots the batsmen played were pretty poorer as well. It is day 2, you do not have to swing at every ball like it is the last 5 overs of a T20 game, how many batsmen lost their wicket to a ball that was significantly impacted by the pitch?

And the Perth wicket and Brisbane silly orange ball test match were not lottery's. it kind of works both ways in all honesty. Adelaide was the only really normal test match. Probably just as well the Poms got their selections wrong on the tour and didnt have warm up games prior to the tour otherwise I think the whole ashes series would have been very different. But that's their own fault and the Aussies were good enough to win the matches when they needed to
