He used to be an okay bowler but now his bowling is sub par. Does absolutely nothing with it and is by far the least dangerous of all our bowlers. Combine that with his terrible batting technique I fail to see why they wouldn’t have went with a spinner over him.

Australia have this obsession with batting all rounders. We tend to give them more opportunities than they deserve and we seem to continue to play them even when they are out of form, we’ve done it with Green, M.Marsh and S.Watson in recent times.

An inspired selection by the ACB selectors.

They have taken a huge loss as a result of the 2 day test matches. By having him in the team, and taking a punt on England winning the toss and batting, it looks possible this game might get into day 5.

With the typical Sydney crowds rocking up there might be as many as 100,000 attendances at the game.
