We can at least be confident that they never went to clown college. That's where the AFL hire its CEOs.
So what exactly were you doing at the VBA?
And what exactly will you do on the NMFC board?

He's right.
What point are you trying to make?
The combustible cladding is a deep issue, with the main issue not being safety, actually.
Yeah exactly.Naaaaaaaaaaaaah.
Remember at the height of the shit when youse literally elected two nuffs off BomberBlitz on the #standbyhird ticket?
Do you know anything about this topic at all?
The issue emerged after I left the VBA. I left in 2012. It came to notice in 2015 with the Lacrosse fire in Docklands.

Yeah, safety is not the main issue.

Documents reveal what Melbourne council was told about building's risks before fire
A Melbourne high-rise damaged by a fast-moving fire in February was deemed a "medium" risk by the fire brigade several years ago — but the local council overruled that assessment and determined the risk was "low", documents obtained under Freedom of Information show.www.abc.net.au
Reality is he's running on governance and he was in the C-Suite of an organisation that's having a bipartisan taskforce headed by two former Premiers look into its activities - at the time he was a senior C-suite exec.
Sorry but that's not screaming out QUALITY CANDIDATE to me.
Great, you quoted Glenville, do you know anything about it?
Do you know about Lacrosse, Neo 200, Marina, Lakani house, Garnock in Scotland etc also?
So if an issue only EMERGES after you've left its all good?
Dunno if that's the attitude I want from a board member.

I know it is called Grenfell.
And yes, I know about Lacrosse, Neo2000 as well.
The point remains that VicGov has appointed a taskforce to investigate the agency the candidate was a senior executive at. for the period he was working there.
And he's running on governance.
But doesn't want to answer any questions and walks away from stuff.
Lol.
The taskforce isn't investigating the VBA.....
At one lunch held at Grossi Florentino in Bourke Street, Mr Arnel, the commission's recently departed chief financial officer, Paul Crapper, and four green building council members spent $1009, including $210 and $135 bottles of wine.

Warning on thousands of buildings
Thousands of Victorian buildings and the builders responsible for them could face rigorous audits after the Ombudsman found the industry regulator to be rife with maladministration, cronyism and misuse of public funds.www.theage.com.au
Yeah I'd rather not have someone who Nick ******* McKenzie lined up and went bang on sitting on our board thank you very much.
As for misuse of public funding, well that's down to interpretation, I don't see anything out of the ordinary with the figures bandied about for senior exec's.
Shit journalism tbh...
North fans I urge you to stand with JeanLucGoddard and not vote for Paul.
Yeah mate, shit journalism from the bloke who has won more Walkleys than anyone else. And it was a quote from the report investigating the place where he worked.
You and I may be different, but I don't want this bloke thinking he can piss away thousands of dollars of member's money at Florentino myself.
Fact is a simple Google search shows up more red flags than a Red Army parade in Red Square.
The reality of the industry is, lunches and relationship building like described probably help save millions in public funding. Spats on construction sites between Govt Agencies, Developers, Builders, Architechts, Subcontractors only ever end up in huge costs blowouts, in an ideal world they wouldn't be required, but they are with some of the ego's at play in the industry...
Cool, Caroline Wilson is a multiple Walkley winner as well, I guess we should just fu** off to the Gold Coast because she said so?
The headline is scare mongering, the article is from 2012, right when legislation was put forth to change some issues with licensing and the article is relating to the issuing of DB-U's not CB-U's (the license required to construct buiildings of the scale the cladding taskforce has been ordered to investigate).....
