I tried to find it to emphasise my post. That's the exact image I was thinking of.

You need an account to post here, yes? So, if you want to share and engage, you'd open an account. If, like him, you're not really someone who personally uses social media, then why keep the account beyond the specific purpose? Makes sense to me.fu** him.
Hope he doesn’t run next year or never again cause he’ll have zero support on here.
This place regardless of its latest standard and bullshit is still a community and if you hang around here long enough then you are welcomed.
Canceling your account cause you’re embarrassed or didn’t stand a chance of being elected is just gutless and weak.
Stay the course, go to games, drum up further support and who knows. Give it a crack once, twice even three times. Pagan did.
That’s dedication to the cause.
The whole voice for members was a load of garbage as it stands and Crapper if you do read this don’t bother coming back on here.
No Bull MKII
Kangalicious cancelled her account and left the forum too, what’s the diff?

She didn't open the account to get elected as a "member representative" then shut it as as soon as she found out she'd lost.
Nah bro, go read her candidate statement. Talked up her association with the fan base and claimed membership lead successes which began on this very forum, including the fight to keep us in Melbourne. Yet hasn’t engaged with this board/forum in over a decade.
His main ticket item was a voice for members at the board. You need an account to post here, yes? So, if you want to share and engage, you'd open an account. As to his motivations, regarding running once or more, he's entitled to run once, and no more if that's his preference. I thank him for at least giving us a choice this year.
tazaa, in this instance, I think your comments are rude and symbolic, I'd suggest, of why Paul left. (I wouldn't blame him.) I think they also indicate a 'preciousness' regarding the perceived importance of this forum, and perhaps, of yourself. There's a wonderful little book called 'The Art of Possibility' that includes a great little story about Rule #6. ("Don't take yourself so goddam seriously.") and in that story, the person learning about this rule says "That's great... what are the other rules?" to which the reply is "There aren't any!"
Personally, if I was in his position and wanted to run again, I'd certainly think twice about the wisdom of accepting random invitations to a lynching.

He was invited on here and clearly wanted to drum up support.
He lost and basically has given up.
He was trying to gain support on emotion and hightailed it as soon as it was pointless.
You know what that’s called? Weakness.
Again, there is no preciousness you have simply misunderstood that when it comes our future in Melbourne and winning our fifth flag it brings out pure raw emotion in any true North person, myself included. You imply I believe this place is blessed or something similar. It’s not.
If Paul has posted in any other thread on here he wouldn’t be engaged in the same way. I’m just calling him out and as I see it.
Anyone can sign up on here and talk footy. For his own sanity, I think he did the right thing by deleting his account. On the other hand, I would hope that he has created another anonymous account. That way, he can still track the mood of Big Footy and learn things if he wants to have another tilt in the future. I don’t know who you are Tazaa or anyone on here (Snake, Kimbo, JLG, TOD, Sopwiths North) and that’s the way it should be. However, I do know who Paul Crapper is now. I take the point that you have to be tough if you’re challenging for a public position. However, to openly declare yourself on an anonymous forum is not the way to go - I think.

It's a shame that I am going to have to HATE her.
I’m sure she’s the exception that proves the rule!
Adorable by the way

NMFC Board Sliding Moments...
IF... a board election nominee demands a refund on his 2020 NMFC membership as he believes it a waste of time...
THEN... it sounds like the club dodged the biggest bullet since Neo hung up the leather trench coat.
It must be legit if he's dobbing himself in.
That's Crappers?
