I'm starting to suspect there's a not insignificant playing contingent whose may feel a bit put out of place by said tunnel vision. I hope not, but can't shake the feeling.

If that's the case we need to get in players who share his vision.

I don't doubt his leadership credentials, he's one of our best, and his media work is first class. But I'm just not a fan of the captain being the bloke stuck in the goal square. Can't demonstrate much leadership from there, especially when we're still expected to be losing more than winning for the next year or two.

He doesnt really stay in the goalsquare. He does venture up to the wing and chf if he feels he is needed to help out. However the real issue is will he try to hard and stuff up...
