Don't start this with me, I'll poke out one of my eyes if I have to!

Enjoyed the article however there appears to be a common misconception in the media that North have to spend their cap space and should they fail to land Dusty or Kelly will jump to the next level of targets even if they are less suitable.

2019 payments can be rolled into 2018 to bring TPP up to 95% of cap. This is perhaps a less sexy option thus I havnt heard it brought up but likely a smarter move than opting for a must spend on less attractive player scenario.
