It's always tense going in to the draft but we're very happy with what we got out of it. We've covered our needs really well. We were quite surprised to see A still available at 26 and we think he'll slot in really well. Everyone knows his talent and we're not concerned about his injuries. We're very excited to see what he can do once he's back up and about. We've been tracking B from a long way out and he we think he's not too far away from being able to come straight in and play a role. He's got that bit of dash that we'd love to add to our mix. C is a really nice complement to the others and gives us a good balance of run, size and some raw talent.

We gave our first round pick away in a strong draft and got next years first pick off Melbourne when the draft is weaker so now we have 2 first round picks next year......but we now have 3 picks in the middle of the second round where hopefully some talent will be still left...might sound confusing but we are happy...

We couldn't believe it when we gave up a second and third pick to jump back into the top ten. The need points to secure NGA and FS selection has made it a crazy night

"Well, we already had the brother of a Carlton player on our list in Ben McKay, so thought we'd just keep trying to one-up them by picking DeKoening & Dow. We also wanted young Pickett, but when he was already gone, we thought we'd give Jarrod a 3rd chance. We may win the wooden spoon this season, but at least the media will finally be positive about us".
