10% in vic so that we are still a inner city melbourne club but tassie is our most important asset to get top end talent on a regular basis. We will need to become the next geelong where tassie is our home away from home.

10%?

Geelong is Geelong's home, Geelong isn't Geelong's home away from home. There is a massive, massive difference.

sorry, in relation to mcg and symmonds. If richmonds got mcg, we want to get as many game in tassie as possible. It also brings up our game play ability in windy, wet conditions.

Just no.

Rather fixed mindset, lemme put it this way, if we stay in vic, we are the unloved child of a family of 10 kids where we get the scraps and left overs from others. To tasmania, we would be a much loved golden child who gets all the shinny toys and gadgets.

You can put it however you want it.

errr it's surely superior than the ethihad stadium deal we currently got. Afl is also pushing for us to have more presence in tasmania as it suits their agenda more. we can't compete in victoria, other bigger clubs got like 80% of the market, why r we simply happy to fight for the scraps. I rather not be a vic club but have a more successful era than sticking to the notion of being in 'melbourne'.

Then you just don't get it.

You should barrick for Sydney. Sure it’s not North Melbourne, but that doesn’t seem to bother you. Also, the AFL will always make sure Sydney are competitive. Who cares if it’s manufactured ey?

So going by that argument afl would want a successful tea, in tassie as it is new territory. This holds well for us as afl will try to prop us up, Thi said will only mean more concessions money and exposure. More importantly we get our own back yard so we become far more competitive. Who cares if I try manufactured we want quick results.

There is so much wrong with this I don’t know where to start.

1, we are North Melbourne not Hobart
2, StKilda receives more money from the afl then any club outside of the expansion teams and they’ve only won 1 premiership. Afl handouts doesn’t equate to success.
3, Tassie is not new territory, it’s predominantly an afl supporting region, hence why the afl doesn’t find it necessary to expand there.

Seriously just take that crap somewhere else. You want to sell your soul to suit the AFL agenda then do it, but we are celebrating 10 years since Keep North South and the last thing we need are fickle supporters doubting the heart and strength of North Melbourne’s long term future in Melbourne and the significance of what we have achieved in those 10 years.
I’m thinking you weren’t present at Dallas Brooke’s Hall when we fought off the AFL and all those that wanted to see us die.

North’s future will always be in Melbourne however we can leverage with strength our zoning ties with Tasmania like every other club currently does around the country without sacrificing who we are and what we stand for.

You don't seem like a North supporter.

Are you a troll in North colours?

Not so sure we stuck one up Kennett on the AFLW thing. The bloke speaks with forked tongue and is street smarter than anyone at our mob.

Am curious what his end-game was with the Tassie joint venture. It sure wasn't about some altruistic vision for Tasmanian football that he claimed.

This is the same bloke who annihilated schools, let casinos off the leash and cattle traded bipolar footballers.

Kennett's such a piece of work he even stuffed up his last ditch attempt to avoid burning in hellfire by instituting an environment of workplace bullying at an anti-depression organisation ffs.
