I would think Davenport and Lonergan would both be excellent chances for promotion as well - do we think we would put all three up?

To do that we would have to delist six. Not sure who they'd be. Probably Spencer, Playfair, Gardiner, S Hunt?, Callan?, Owen?, Byrnes??

Can Hogan be delisted, or does a new drafted player have to stay on the list 2 years?

Both Grima and Lonners must be promoted ( I feel they should) or delisted.
Whereas Davenport can be kept as a Rookie. He could be our nominated Rookie thereby able to play Seniors if warranted.

I'm not sure we get the option of a nominated rookie next year. I think that was just because we didn't have two veterans, but I think both Dasher and Harley now qualify. So we'd need a long term injury for any rookies to play.

I just think Davenport might be ready for the senior list. He took some games apart in the VFL this year, and I'd much rather have him kicking goals off a forward flank than newly-minted-premiership-player-but-still-in-my-opinion-not-up-to-AFL-standard Shannon Byrnes.

The one I'm least sure about is Grima. I'll admit I probably haven't seen as much VFL as some others here this year, but for mine he just goes missing too often and doesn't seem to have the impact that others do. That said, he's still young and consistency always comes with maturity. I don't know; I think I could understand the decision whichever way the club goes.

Reg, I think we could get around the Davenport dilemma because of the long term injury to Owen,assuming he is retained.There is certainly going to be some hard decisions to be made.
