What's the point in naming Martin and Shaw after one week in the sanfl?

CEY better play, of course it'll be at the expense of Brown and not Reilly though.

How ****ing uninspiring are those selections after 3 smashings in a row? Port has even named someone from their rookie list for his debut, that would be taking a risk though...

Also, I thought Steven was meant to miss another week?

In fact Grigg's performances this year have been totally "underwhelming" which is very disappointing because I think we all had high hopes for him to take the next step and really tear it up this season. His past history showed he can become a bit complacent so hopefully this kick in the ring this will spur him on to bigger and better things if he is dropped to the ressies. Really thought he could have been a dark horse for Rising Star honours this year.
 
I wouldn't even care if Grigg had single digit possession counts so long as we still got the ball into his hands around our forward arc a few times per game.

Time for another one week Brodie Martin experiment.

I love that we have a clear plan for the future easily discerned by our selections.

There was far too much hype for him coming into season 2014. Had only played 5 AFL games (with 2 of those as the sub) late last year against relatively weak opposition.

We need to ensure that we get him at least 15 games no matter what to ensure he is ready for a big crack at 2015. Kerridge is a little further along, but I wont be surprised or disappointed if he is dropped halfway through the year as well.

Martin has repeatedly shown he is not up to it at AFL. Good SANFL player but that's where it ends and I don't see why Shaw should come back after one week. Hopefully CEY is the only inclusion.

I hate the statement good SANFL player but not up to AFL. This only applies for players with slow leg speed as AFL is quicker however anyone with speed who is a good SANFL player will normally be a good AFL if they are allowed to settle even after a few games and find his feet. Some players are much maligned and get dropped to often which kills their confidence

2nd highest goal scorer. You really don't rate goal kicking do you? If we drop Grigg we've dropped our 2nd and 3rd (Lewie) highest goal scorers. Genius for a team that can't kick a score to save its life

Im not one to criticise selection often but these seletions are a joke. How Pets is in the squad is beyond me. Grigg I can understand as he hasnt really performed as we had hoped but I would have thought he wouldn't play due to injury.

Brown hasnt been super either but has done more than enough to keep his spot. Hoping CEY gets a gig but I cant see it and its also good to see Lynch playing ressies.

If we go in unchanged people have the right to be filthy with our coaches, but if Grigg and Brown play SANFL its even worse

Actually this is wrong. Its been discussed that the Demons will or could get the first three picks, first - for coming last, 2nd for losing a player and 3rd as compensation for being a shit team for the last few years.
 
Thoroughly uninspiring, however expected. Petrenko, really? And lets drop Grigg, the only guy in the team (bar Smith) who can hit a ****ing target consistently, and don't even get me started on Martin, whats the definition of insanity again?
