Fair to say mission accomplished.
You could tell everytime they showed a shot of Malthouse how much he cared about this game. not once did he show any emotion at all.
It was humorous in the end, this is one of the angriest blokes in footy, and we gave up a big final quarter lead, he didn't bat an eyelid.
So for everyone saying it was the "loss we had to have" we barely even turned up, and still nearly came away with it. Hawks needed it, and nearly didn't get it, with all their best blokes bar hodgey firing.
And for everyone saying "that's 2 straight weeks of ordinary footy" adelaide fisted the saints today, and are much better then they've been this year, tactically it seems they've got it together well enough to beat geelong and st.kilda, and to push the dogs and the pies, all in the last 6 weeks.
Didak, and hopefully Presti back this week, The anvil definitely, and we'll lay the smack down. bookmark it, the dogs will have their eyes pecked out.
Cheers to no injuries
