Fair to say mission accomplished.
You could tell everytime they showed a shot of Malthouse how much he cared about this game. not once did he show any emotion at all.
It was humorous in the end, this is one of the angriest blokes in footy, and we gave up a big final quarter lead, he didn't bat an eyelid.

So for everyone saying it was the "loss we had to have" we barely even turned up, and still nearly came away with it. Hawks needed it, and nearly didn't get it, with all their best blokes bar hodgey firing.

And for everyone saying "that's 2 straight weeks of ordinary footy" adelaide fisted the saints today, and are much better then they've been this year, tactically it seems they've got it together well enough to beat geelong and st.kilda, and to push the dogs and the pies, all in the last 6 weeks.

Didak, and hopefully Presti back this week, The anvil definitely, and we'll lay the smack down. bookmark it, the dogs will have their eyes pecked out.
Cheers to no injuries

That was the main thing that we didnt get any injuries, Jolly mite have broken his nose in the last quter but that wont keep him out from next week. With Brown Didak and Presti to come back, i am very excited about September.

Didnt see the game but from the news looks like Wellingham may have a case for an elbow to the head whilst hawthorn player was on the ground, hopefully nothing comes of it but looked like one of those who knows with the MRP

Didn't look much in it to me.

Not so sure about Toovey though...WTF, the possum a hitman

Jolly would play with a broken nose, if it is broken, which it may well be.

He'd also play with a fractured cheekbone. So long as the floor of orbit wasn't fractured...which looked unlikely given the angle of the blow.

He'll get Xray +/- CT scan..though maybe he won't...sometimes people prefer not to know!

Jolly will kick 4 next week against the Dogs, guy is in the mood to smash goals. I didn't realise how good a forward he was, he makes leads and moves into the ball and takes contested marks and kicks straight. Really liking his work atm.

Did anyone notice that Harry got a bad corkie early in the game?

He was struggling for a while there. He should be okay but will be a bit sore this week.

Yeah, it happened very early, and it looked very bad when it happened, but 5 minutes later he was running around, looking good.

Maybe it restricted him late though, he made some shocking errors late in the game.

I can just see it now, Presti, Dids and Harry all in the hyberbaric chamber during the week.:)

Will the injury cause Jolly to approach contests in a more tentative manner, even unconsciously?

Doubt it, he came racing onto the ground after getting himself strapped up late in the game to try and get to a contest in our forward line, even though he probably had every right just to plonk his behind on the bench.

He's not meek, is big Jolly. Still can't believe he didn't get a free for getting belted in the face.

BT said there are rumours that Dids will be out until Prelim Final week...Obviously just rumours, but still has me worried.:(

Dr Peter Larkins just said on MMM that Didak will play next week, he said its obviously more serious than just a bruised shoulder otherwise he would have played this week but he expects him to play against the bulldogs.
