Was watching a cracking contest last night between the Australian ex world champion Neal Robertson and young Judd Trump. The big tournaments like the UK championship and the World championship are still extensively followed and televised in the UK, where all the top players are household names.

Has in not been shown in Australia?

No interest in Australia - Pot Black was an interesting cultural phenomenon in the '70s, but the sport has no following outside its actual players.

Of course, if an Aussie wins any World Champs - even the Synchronised Yoghurt-hurdling Rallycross - the local media will do a rah-rah story. But that's usually yesterday's news pretty fast.

Robertson once again came up against Trump in the Masters and did very well to overcome him (in the semi-final). Final session of the Final, against Shaun Murphy (English, not Irish, despite the name) is being screened live in a few minutes. Robertson is 5-3 up; first to 13.

Love the Snooker. Watched a lot of the tournament when it was at Bendigo mid last year. Shame on crowd sizes and atmosphere, if I could have gotten time off work I certainly would have went!

Its on a lot on Fox Sports but as its been said its at odd times. Don't mind staying up and watching the Snooker or the Darts, shame they don't get a lot or any time on free to air television.

A win for Robertson by 10-6. Well deserved, he grew stronger and stronger as the final went on.

The Masters is arguably the second biggest tournament after the World championships. Although it's not a 'rankling' event, carrying ranking points, because it's an invitation competition. Simply the Top 16 players in the world battling it out.

That's good matchplay. Murphy looked the better in the first couple of frames, but Robertson grew stronger and stronger as the match went on. By the end, he was playing pretty good stuff. Too good for Murphy on that form, anyway.

Robertson is off to a pretty messy start, this one frame here feels like it has been going for like an hour
