AFL Grand Final No More Excuses About Where The Grand Final Is

Spare me the excuses from interstate supporters about your team and the Grand Final being played at the MCG.

Because not only will a Victorian team win the Premiership.....the game will be decided between two Victorian teams in Queensland.

It's done!

Is that like the Swans v the Eagles at the G?

Richmond and Geelong were good enough to overcome the disadvantages, kudos to them.

Doesn't mean the disadvantage doesn't exist though, and you won't always be that much better than your opponent plus some to overcome it. Which is fine if the disadvantage is shared around, but in this league it's not, that's the point.

Well done to the Tiges earning their GF birth, You can win GFs on the road as the Eagles, Crows, Lions, Swans & Port have proved. Are the Tiges up to it?
I'm just confused as to how they got to play both QLD teams as the home team, thus forcing them to play at the away stadiums, yet other clubs had to play them at their home grounds.

This proves more than anything the best teams make grand finals and win premierships. Stop your whining port eagles and lions fans, you 3 had the greatest advantage of any year in history this season and you were not good enough.
Hope you enjoy watching on next week:)

Still didn't play as many games at home in a row as Richmond did at the end of last season.

If you Victorians think hubbing for 15 weeks in Queensland is the equivalent of traveling every 2nd game for:

34 years like West Coast Eagles

30 years like Adelaide Crows

26 years like Fremantle

24 years like Port Adelaide

Then you really do have your heads up your own arses.

And by the way the Eagles and Dockers both hubbed for 10 weeks in Queensland this year also.

You are right, hubbing is much harder.
Thanks for pointing that out

The Eagles were simply not good enough, no question.

Its funny hearing the Vic teams complain about the advantages interstate teams had this year. As if they don't regularly play the majority of their games in their home state in a regular season.
Yeah, the whinging has been unbearable.

You played 5 games at home against Vic sides, in 2019 we had 4 games at home against interstate sides. Once again you’re wrong:)
What on earth are you talking about? They all played home games at our stadium, thus negating any home ground advantage we would've had as Optus was a neutral venue this year :)

Isn’t it amazing how much interstate fans complain when Collingwood and Richmond play only 2 more home games at their home ground than interstate teams at their home.
