It's official. Our injury list is second smallest in the league. We are behind Sydney, who has 2 injuries. With only 3 players on our list we are now able to put our best players on the park (with the exception of Hamill, Gardiner and Goddard). We are clearly playing much better without players being out due to injury and our luck finally appears to have turned. Looking forward to September!

Yes, it's fantastic!

The saints need to improve a little though for the run home. Although we got the four points against the blues, it wasn't a great game by us. Carlton did play really well, however, we should of won by at least six goals.

Yes the injury situation is much better. I guess you can not really expect Hamill to play, abd Gardiner was always a risk, but Goddard is a heart breaker.

Would much prefer three nobodies injured (if we have to have any), but I guess that is not the way StKilda work.

Good signs though, and no more excuses. Kosi, Roo, Gehrig in the forward line is two talls too many for the Dogs. We should be right, but they have a fair bit of ticker in them.

You're right ChrisFooty. Although we got the 4 points on the w/e i wasn't particularly impressed by our performance. In patches we were brilliant, but our inability in the last two games (and even the adelaide game to a lesser extent) to kill off a game and bury a team has been very frustrating. Especially considering we have a very poor percentage.

Credit to the blues - they didn't make it easy for us at all.

Regarding the injuries - don't say anything! I don't want to jinx our current fortunes in this area!!

The good thing about this is that we were able to win without playing our best. Although smashing Carlton would of helped with our percentage.
I had a look at the fixture and we could win all of our remaininbg games. I would say Sydney and WCE are the dangers. 12 wins wont get us in.

12 wins will get us in. I think it all depends on this week. If we beat the Bulldogs, Hawthorn beat Essendon, Kangaroos beat Brisbane and Port beat Adelaide we will definitely make the top 8.....even with only 12 wins.

12 is no good to us. Not with our percentage. We need to be a game clear, and at this stage, it's doubtful whether we'll be a game clear if we win 13.
