Well it's a bit late now. If you want me to start another slanging match then I will.

If I wanted to live with IDIOTS I would move to the Northern suburbs.

People who live NOR are a bunch of arrogant prats.

SOR FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You mean all those snobs from Lockridge, Girrawheen, Nollamara and Balga? I hate getting looked down upon from those guys.

I think he means Cott,Nedlands,City beach and Scarborough.
Hold up there all near the best beaches in perth and close to the city.
Wow what a conincidence the best areas are north of the river :p

The best areas are spread all over Perth. The worst areas are spread all over Perth. But in saying that I wouldn't want to drive through Nollamara. See the beating that guy got.

Well, in saying that, I don't see why people prefer SOR. Seems there is a fair bit more happening NOR.:D

I don't think i was beaten at all. You had to go down to petty name calling to try and back up your outlandish argument that NOR actually has something going for it

NOR have the best schools for when you are a kid
NOR have the best nightlife outside the city when you are young
NOR is closer to the City and West Perth for work
NOR is closer to Subi for the footy all throughout life
NOR is closer to Perth's best beaches all throughout life
And when you die, NOR is closer to the cemetary:p

So what does SOR got going for it. Oh, I know, it is closer to Canning Vale prison.;)

NOR has more crime hotspots
NOR gets to hang around with the dead
NOR has so many friendly druggies and drunks hanging around Northbridge

SOR has Freo Oval so I can see the mighty Bulldogs
SOR is closer to Mandurah which has much nicer and less populated beaches than Perth
SOR has Freo, the multicultural capital of WA
SOR is closer to Rotto

How do you work out NOR is closer to the city?
If I lived in South Perth and you lived in Warwick, I know who is closer to the city.

What wrong with that? My friends loved going down to the cemetery when we were younger. And it had these huge sand dunes you could run down to get there.

NOR doesn't have as many stuck up snobs.

I would say that there are more stuck up snobs NOR (Peppermint Grove, Dalkeith, and Claremont in particular). That isn't in all suburbs, besides it's a small price to pay compared to the surroundings (beaches, the river, good pubs, and a better standard of women).

Has anyone else noticed the huge difference in quality of women around these areas? I have two theories:

1) Money talks. Guys with money (who are often found in these areas) attract a better standard of women. They get married, have kids, and they come out looking pretty decent (obviously they usually get their good looks from the Mum because the men are just ugly guys with heaps of cash).

2) The beach, 'In' places, and 'Who's who' suburbs attracts the good looking chicks. Not as prevalent in the Western suburbs of Perth, but very common in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. There's hot chicks everywhere and you find most of them grew up in the outer suburbs and were attracted to the more affluent areas because a) they know they are good looking enough to attract a man with money, and b) to hang out with the 'in' crowd and be 'someone'.

If you go to any major city, you will find that the 'talent' is always better in the more affluent areas.

What?
Best nightlife - have you heard of Freo?
Closer to the city - Yeah I'm jealous of all those people from Clarkson and Mindarie fighting traffic to get to Perth each day

:D It aint that far north. Besides I've only been this far north for a couple of years. I grew up in Craigie, Beldon and Heathridge. Went to Craigie Senior High School. Im a northerner from way back :D

I'll take my clean air, established trees and native wildllife over the windy, glarey, crowded deserts up north thankyou very much. ;) :)

BB- "NOR have the best schools for when you are a kid". Most elite yes, but 'best', I don't agree. There's a few of the high profile Private schools if that's what does it for you, but also a few of the best public schools in the state. I'm not going to start a public v private debate here, but in my experience there's not an awful lot of difference between the two.
