I reckon its time to dump this thread in Black Diamond Corner (not about a Port player) where it will die a quick death.
I made that suggestion 5 pages ago, but it's school holiday time and you know what that means.

What the hella re you on about? In what way is giving up #13 & #31 for Pickett, and #14 & 28 for Motlop in anyway comparable to you guys offering pick 37?

How do you think those trades would have gone had we only offered pick 31 for Pickett and pick 28 for Motlop?

Surely you're not suggesting that Jacobs is to be viewed on exposed form as the same value of either Motlop or Pickett?

Tell me you're not serious!?

If anything, this makes Ports petty mindedness over Jacobs all that much harder to understand.

I don't get why Hard to Beat is whingeing about those trades, but please don't tell me you're comparing Byron Pickett and Daniel Motlop to Ben Jacobs.

Karma ended up with us in the long run as Motlops career imploded and we on-trade pick 46 for pick 43 which we used to draft our triple B&F captain. Order was restored.

Karma has already delivered us our man in the PSD, so if and probably when Jacobs continues to spud it up like he has at Port, would that be karma too?

Not at all, but the point was, the reason why "North didnt stand in their way" was because they got good-very good trades for the both of them. Had we offered North just the 2nd round picks for the both of them, the same situation would have occured.

The Roos are bitter about Port because of our situations

Port is assured of a long AFL life, being part of a two team state plus the emergence of Adelaide Oval.

The Roos is assured of angst & turmoil, with a future, if they have one, that will be hundreds or thousands of miles away from Arden Street. They'll eventually buckle and either die or relocate, there is no future other than that for them.

I just hope they don't forget to pack away Jacobs when they are forced to relocate.

This thread would have died ages ago if North trolls with a massive chip on their shoulder would have stayed out. I don't know why it's any concern of theirs any more.
