No Sidebottom, Beams or Macaffer!

I, for one, was glad they didn't play on Sat night as I was unable to watch the game and I woulda been pissed off if I missed them in their first hit out.

Now there's a good chance that they'll debut later in the comp and I'll get to see them in action.

Would like to see LBrown, Corrie, Maxwell (susp) and Dawes sit out, and Sidebottom, Goldsack, McCarthy, and Rusling come in.

Goldsack should be his replacement.

Id love to see Caff, McCarthy (is he ready??), Rusty and Beamsy all in the side but i cant find many ppl to ommit.

Leave Cook in and drop Dawes for Caf. And no i'm not basing this on Dawes' one NAB cup match.

Was really dissapointing not to see them on saturday night. Thought it was a great opportunity to play them against a very undermanned West Coast team.

I hope they get a chance to prove themselves before round 1.

Must admit I felt the same ways as you did Dave. Although one can understand the training staff wanting to try out the game plan early so we can get that rolling by the start of the season. Established players have got to be shown that they are required and have to be the ones with the primary role of getting us there in September. By the end of the NAB cup I reckon we will see Sidebottom, Beams and Macaffer and judging from the past they will be brought in ala Pendles during the year! Exciting stuff all round!
