The game is so brilliantly mocked up.
I mean you kick a round ball into a net and have a goalie.
I hear you say, hey man that's soccer.
No my friend it's "INTERNATIONAL RULES".
But soccer is International rules, it's played all over the world on every continent that's inhabited you say.
Don't be silly, International Rules is a beast and could swallow soccer and still have room for desert. It is a game that combines the best of two footy games and allows for two countries that have a similar game to play against each other for the International Cup.
What? Two sides play for an International Cup. That's just like saying that two US baseball teams playoff for the World series.
Yes, yes it is. It's genius. It brings two of the worlds biggest populations and media markets together to conquer all others.

State of Origin is a waste of time but the International Rules is sublime.

I was at the 2002 series at Corke Park. It was an awesome experience to be over there watching it live.

the mosquito fleet would have been a great inclusion to the team this year.

Went and saw it in 2011 when Grigg, Nahas and King (injured) were playing. It was ****ing terrible.

Looks to be picking up a bit now though with better players, without having to entertain with violence.

Gone are the days of the punch ons and big bumps, even Brett Deledio at 18 or 19 years of age was wrestling and throwing sling tackles.

I'm in WA at the moment and they had FYFE being interviewed on the news about it - a couple of points

- FYFE is one of the captains of the go round - he was injured in the last match and sits this one out
- FYFE reckons its great to be part of the team so he can chat to the other team captains etc - Pendlebury, Sellwood and others - and get their ideas and views.
- FYFE also reckons the dockers coach is part of the team and they have been looking at the team and working stuff out for next season ...

NOTHING IN THIS FOR THE TIGERS ....
