Clarke doesn't have the expectation on him that Parish does. He really needs to step up, although it could easily be Langers I reckon.

I don't think anyone is seeking a whipping boy. It is just an acceptance that having a whipping is part of Essendon culture. There is no walk about start at the moment, so this is speculation who may be unfortunate enough to take up that role.

Seems to me that it is the complete opposite. The way that most fans are talking on this site he was the only player that shouldn't have been dropped. Myers and Baguely are definitely leading after round 1.
