Seeing as there is now no chance of a replay of the 78 day GF, hopefully we'll have a replay of the 99 night GF!

it would feel alot better hoping for a reply of '99 if it was to be played at waverley

Hawkforce,

It certainly apears that it will be a Hawks-Power play-off. Colonial stadium certainly gives the Hawks the edge in the semi-final.

If it is a Hawks-Power play-off I hope, for fairness sake it is at Footbalkl Park. Port have the best win-loss record, so why should the Hawks get the home state advantage???

Hawthorn got the home state advantage in 1999 against Port, so I would have thought, that Port should get it in 2001. it is IMPOSSIBLE to have a neutral game, since one of the teams will have an advantage.

Clearly the team that has that advantage should be Port, given that are 4-0, and the Hawks (if they win) will be 3-1.

Why should the Hawks get the advantage???

The Hawks are the only Victorian team left, so they will be being supported by a large number of Victorians, but this doesn't mean the match should be at Colonial.

Strangely, I answered this post on another thread, while you were writing it!

Colonial IS neutral Dan.

If they played it there but called it a Port home game then nobody would turn up!
