Today being Friday thats probably on the money. If you mean last Friday, you would think the coach's would have also been told & they knew nothing of it until we did.AFL.com.au reporting that Lions players were informed Friday that he was taking the North job.
Sure am, just laughing at all the Lions apologists posting over on the North board having a grand old circle jerk on how great it is that they landed Noble.
Good to see so many Lions fans so overjoyed that another club has benefited greatly from taking the single most important person at the Lions whilst ignoring the fact as to how detrimental it is to the Lions.
I guess I should be cracking the champagne with everyone else that Noble has ****** off and bailed the club.![]()

Expect quite a few of the Lions players to wind up at North in the coming year, particularly the likes of McCluggage, Bailey, Rayner, McStay etc.
No, no, no, fine, noExpect quite a few of the Lions players to wind up at North in the coming year, particularly the likes of McCluggage, Bailey, Rayner, McStay etc.
Hey, I'm not the one ravishing praise on an oppositions supporter base after they appointed the once most important person at our club ignoring what a gaping hole its left our club. It's possible to wish someone well because he's done a good job with us while also being disappointed that he left the club. Many people are able to have mixed feelings on things.
And quit with the "apologists" and "band wagoner" name calling rubbish you insist on pulling out. Gatekeeping on support of a sports club is pathetic.

Perhaps I best go post on their board at how ecstatic I am at them appointing him, it might make me feel better.

Sure, he's the biggest piece of sh*t floating around BF, but let him have this one, he has had absolutely nothing else to celebrate for 20 years.Lol went in the North thread to congratulate them on an excellent appointment and immediately saw perhaps the worst non-richmond poster on this site who took the opportunity to complain about an 'academy monopoly' turning us around. Never change, Norf!

Please. The single most important person at the Lions is Greg Swann. Parachuted in by the AFL in the depths of our darkest hour.
This all started with his appointment. Our success on the field, our improved culture, our ability to recruit quality personnel on field & more importantly behind the scenes in the back end of the club.
It was Swann who brought us Noble & Fagan & he will keep bringing in quality people.
Greg Swann is God.
I know plenty of people who wouldn't agree with that either.Please.
Stunned, you are buying that.![]()

Yeah. Just reading your post you sucked me in a beauty as well.Wasn't a really serious post. Just a bit of frivolity Dylan as I know you can't stand him.
Thought you'd see the funny side.
I should've known better.
Yet you've failed to be humble and thank him for the great work he's done for the club, or wish him the best for the future, but I suppose that just proves once again what type of character you really are, hope like hell we don't get the likes of you at the club anytime soon.Sure am, just laughing at all the Lions apologists posting over on the North board having a grand old circle jerk on how great it is that they landed Noble.

Pretty much my thoughts. The AFL handed him to us 4 yrs ago and now he has been handed to North to save their misery.
Thank you to Nobes for setting us up for, hopefully some sustained success.
I hope the Coaching game turns out well for him.
