I noticed a thread appear and my first reaction was to go on the attack, until I realized it dated to 2016 ...

It made me reflect on some of the posts and dummy spits I have had here through the years which I would not particularly like to see resurface.

At one point I wrote a post about trading out our full side stating only Jack Riewoldt was worth anything in our whole team and I rated him a 3rd rounder. I was rightly pilloried by a bunch of you guys for the idiot I was, most of the team I was ready to offload are now premiership players.

I am sure most of you have a comment or two skeleton in the cupboard here which in hindsight is a little embarrassing.

For my part I am willing to forgive myself, in the end we are all passionate Richmond people so are allowed to place our foot in our mouths occasionally for the love of our club I can live with being an occasional idiot .

I don't think I've come down to hard on players, but I've certainly been embarrassed by some players who I'd talked up thinking they were gonna be stars!
