Nominations for a new mod for the Brisbane Boards

Yes, I've decided to hang up the modding boots and drift into the background once again. I've enjoyed doing it for the past year-and-a-bit, but I no longer have the time to devote to the site. And for those who may be thinking it, no the past month has had nothing to do with it - it's been in the pipeline for a while now, but I've been trying to tidy up the Daniel Merrett sponsorship and a few other things.

Thanks to everyone who posts here. It's not always smooth sailing, but this board is, if you can believe it, one of the most harmonious of the team boards and along with LL and weevil, we've strived to keep it that way.

OK, so down to business. We're now calling for nominations to co-moderate this board and the associated sub-boards. It's not a particularly hard job, but it needs someone fair-minded, balanced and patient and who is able to log in pretty much every day and keep an eye on things.

You may nominate yourself or others. Just say who you'd like to nominate and why. We don't want to see comments on why some people wouldn't be good for the job. Any major concerns with nominees can be sent via PM to any of us mods. If you've been nominated by someone else, but don't want the gig you can declare your unavailability here.

In all seriousness, Grimreepah has probably matured enough to take on the role. I dread seeing him with any sort of power though.

Funny you should mention that because he was just over there as a control operator launching missiles at Taliban strongholds in Afghanistan with the same precision he shows when kicking for goal from 30 out.

I can't say too much due to the sensitive nature of the war, but let's just say Syria are pissed.
