Hate the women's man, I was sitting watching the Wawrinka game yesterday at Margaret Court and you could actually hear Sharapova screaming from Rod Laver. It's a bloody joke haha.

I think Tomic will take a set off Federer today, but Federer will win. Cilic vs Seppi will be good today as will Raonic vs Kohlshreiber too.

Nothing wrong with a couple of screams . I don't even notice them. You should have been watching Sharapova demolish Venus, it was good fun.
Although I do like Wawrinka, so at least you were at a decent match.

Fair enough. I'm not a Nadal fanboy at all, nor do I have an intense hatred for Federer. I dislike his personality but it's a delight to watch him every time he plays.

Only just had a groundpass man, watched Tipsarevic vs Benneteau and then Wawrinka vs Querry. Was some good quality tennis. I was given seats just for the Ferrer vs Baghdadis game but went home because I was absolutely freezing.
Yeah I think he will get only one set off him, will be a good game though.

That's the thing though, I have only seen him as a good bloke off the court? Still can most definitely play, hopefully he can win the lot, but my smokey is still Tsonga.

I always get homesick for Melbourne at this time of year. I used to love going to the Open back in the 90s. Lindsay Davenport was my favourite - a giant of a woman. I only I wish I would have gone to the 2000 Women's Final to see her win. I also liked Michael Chang. Saw him play a marathon match one year. Can't remember who it was against. My favourite male at the time was Todd Martin who was born about five miles from here. Classy player.

*yawn* The Super Bowl would only be interesting if I would be going to Vegas for the weekend. The place is really jumping Super Bowl weekend. My brother's going, but because I had planned on visiting Melbourne in March, I decided not to go with him. Alas, I'll be stuck here in Chicago. Even my trip to Melbourne is doubtful.

As for hockey... *double yawn*. Of course, if the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup, I'll be joining the bandwagon in June. It would be un-Chicagolike of me not to!

ahhh, you don't know what you're missing, I'm hoping to get over there in the next couple years for a sports bonanza, NHL, NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA and High School Football. As for the Blackhawks you never know with the condensed season, they should be there abouts again, but I have pretty big doubts on the goaltending to take a cup, think my nucks might struggle a bit this season though.

That match last night was up there with the likes of Nadal v Verdasco (Aus Open), Federer vs Roddick (Wimbledon), last year's AO final and Tipsarevic vs Raonic (can't remember which tournament). Loved every second.
