Although I'm unsure whether to use a punny name, or continue the Simpsons theme (my address is listed as 742 Evergreen Terrace) and write the letter to Mr. Hank Scorpio, CEO of Globex Corporation.

Maintain the Simpsons theme, but address the letter to Rex Banner, and sign off as the Beer Baron.

Have to use my real name. :( Good idea in theory though, gave me a laugh.

Have gone with Scorpio; You Only Move Twice is a great episode. Hoping my tutor gets it, otherwise I may have to educate her.

If she doesn't understand a You Only Move Twice reference you should probably write a letter to the board calling for her sacking.

I've got a feeling she probably will. In my last assignment (which was on weight loss promotion programs), I had the line, "... adding weight to a growing amount of..." She highlighted, 'Adding weight,' and replied, "Pun intended?" She has a good sense of humour so surely she likes The Simpsons. :p

Almost everyone I know does to varying extents - the early seasons are just brilliant and it's still been good recently even if it's just degenerated into mocking Apple and modern marketing.
Get annoyed when people don't recognise the Simpsons references/quotes I bring up :p

I have to address it to our teacher, so Hank Scorpio it is. Same teacher highlighted when I wrote in a business essay "We must move forward, not backward! Upward, not forward! And always twirling, twirling, twirling towards victory!" and gave me an A for that paper so I'm good :D

My driving lessons going well so getting ever closer to getting my licence. It is more of a case now that I'm no longer nervous anymore but more just watching my surroundings and what other drivers do. What testing route(s) did you do for your driving test Nathan.

That's good to hear mate. Little point stressing out about it, the testers are really cool and will just chat to your instructor, just do what you always do but make sure it's all in order - indicators and mirrors and all that. For mine she had me turn left out of the business park, left again down Newhaven Road, then left onto Highbury and had me go into all these courts and little side streets and then back onto Highbury, onto Springvale, left onto Burwood and back into Vicroads. Yours will probably be different, the tests are supposed to go for half an hour but I was actually going for about 50 minutes because she was a close friend of my instructor. She wasn't picky at all though so it was just driving while they complained to each other about their partners.

I wouldn't stress too much mate. I stalled in the middle of an interestion and also bunny hopped after a 3 point turn and I still passed my test. Basically don't speed or hit anything and your home free.

Copped 4 calls in a row from a telemarketer today.
In an Indian accent, she told me she wasn't trying to sell anything or have me take a survey, the call was for 'educational purposes'.
I asked who was being educated, she replied 'this company, Chandigarh *such and such, don't remember*'

Told her that such a call amounted to a survey and she started spouting some rubbish, hung up. She called back another two times with the same thing, and then a fourth time, by which I'd found 'Who Let the Dogs Out' on YouTube and played it on repeat until she hung up after 13 minutes.

Edit: Yes, 13 minutes of 'Who Let the Dogs Out' on repeat.

The test is pretty easy, don't need to worry about them mate. For mine, I was using my instructor's car, and they go through the routine check, and everything was working. They tell me to start the car. Car doesn't start. They tell me to start it. I try again, the car doesn't start. So they try, and the car doesn't start.

So we have to get the jumper cables and jumpstart the instructor's car using some random that we pulled over. And I still passed, so you'll be fine :D
