The worst. I jarred my little finger playing footy so many times on my right hand that I can no longer have it straight. It's almost on about a 30 degree angle now.
What'd you do to your thumb?
Have a feeling a spoiling attempt from some douche hit my thumb at the same time as the pill arrived. Unlike last year where my baby finger got caught in someone's jumper and I couldn't bend it for a month or so (still played). Give it a few days and it will be right again.

can you be lazy enough not to eat junk food?
because that's really all you need to do.
Gym stuff just "fastens" it a bit.
When you're depressed junk food is so easy to eat so that's always fun.

I have cut out soft drink and dropped from 90kg to 85kg, I want to drop down to below 80 though, going to cut out the junk food, thanks mate :)

You'd be surprised at how much diet and excercise can aid in weight loss, it's like some sort secret the government has been keeping from us.
Bloody Tony Abbott.

The diet I can do, or at least eat a bit healthier, only problem is that you lack motivation to cook healthier instead of getting cheap easy meals is hard, as is getting out to exercise. One step at a time though.

But I'll blame Abbott. I mean it probably is his fault.

I used to be much the same, now I run 6 km a day. If you force yourself you end up getting used to it. Especially once you start seeing results. Still would rather be doing anything else though...

I have a horrible diet which I can't see changing, but I can get by with mostly exercise. I've started yoga (done 3 sessions, pretty much a master by now) and I can tell it's good shit already. Don't even have to leave the house for my exercise now

Not if that man is played by Gene Wilder. Johnny Depp however...shudder.

How about the candy man at the start?
Doesn't take any cash from those kids, but Charlie takes one block and he is coughing to get his attention with his hand out :p

Johnny Depp one is supposed to be more accurate to the book though I thought

Sometimes I think people here are like Veruca with wanting results, 'I want it now!'

Trust you to guess that :p. Yes indeed. Loving it so far.
You left too many hints. Yoga and not leaving home. I was thinking it's either Trish Stratus or DDP, and DDP's easier to get.
Wilder's performance in this scene alone outstrips Depp's entire performance.
Love Depp as an actor but that movie was terrible. Wilder was the perfect Willy Wonka.

Haha, always annoyed me too. Was going to make another Abbott joke but thought I'd used up my daily allocation.

As a fan of the book (read it several times as a kid) I'm not sure that's entirely true. Yeah it has more scenes from the book but it misses the heart that Dahl wrote into it. The original movie is a genuine classic that can be watched as both a child and adult.

McCartney thread is entirely filled with Veruca Salts. And a couple of Mike Teavees...

I am watching it right now at the scene in his office
where everything is in halves and a youtube comment said Mrs Wonka took half of everything :p

but I like how in the old version, you don't see what happens to the other kids
but in the new version it shows them alive and not well, but still alive

The best acting moment in the entire film was by the girl in the candy man scene. She gets cracked in the chin when the candy man lifts the counter top up. You actually see her head go back as she gets hit, but she just carries on like nothing happened. That's a tough little kid.
