Great pic. :P
In short, it's a story of the troubled and unfortunate life of a young boy struggling between the two options of a response to adversity: conformity, or rebellion. It's mostly a bit of a hobby as I've always enjoyed creative writing and have been quite good at it since I was younger, plus I have a mate who's currently fielding offers from publishers on his books that somewhat motivated me to finally work on getting some ideas down on paper.

Yeah, I strictly gamble on totals, occasionally on the line (playoffs).

Any hard and fast rules you adhere to or just take a swing at whatever you like the look of?

Nahh just have a hit at whatever I feel like really. I don't punt that much any more, but I would always look for teams who are on the road and who were on a winning streak, then work around that. Generally middle table teams as well.

Ricky Rubio will be held out by the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night and likely Friday at New Orleans.

Please tell me someone else is watching Mavs vs Celtics?!

D0gs like this. Good to see he isn't rushed back as Dannnnnnnnnn said.

Watching the last half of the game today, good to see them score over 100 points as well.

Saw the score but will definitely watch later on. I haven't watched any basketball this week due to work, Christmas time is always shit for me :(

Sick to death of these US lockouts every second year, give us our sport you greedy knobs!
Agreed. It makes the off-season that much more worse. Can't complain with the Cricket and EPL on though.

Anybody ready about the Kevin Love saga, lambasting Khan (rightly so) and the Timberwolves organisation?

Now, Kevin Love is one of my favourite players (I am more of a fan of players, more so than teams in the NBA. But I have a strong following for OKC, Boston, T'Wolves and Nets more so than other teams). Anyway, K-Love is one of my favourites, but it's interesting how players with massive currency like him can come out and say things so publicly against their franchise and have it work in their favour. I can't fault him for coming out and saying that stuff, because he is absolutely right. No matter how good Rubio gets, Love is their marquee player. Good PF/C's aren't seemingly as plentiful as their PG counterparts at the moment, and Love was ready to sign a 5 year deal and be a Timberwolf for his career, and yet here in 2 years he could potentially walk away as a free agent, which would be absolutely devastating.

No slight on Rubio by the way, he is a beautiful player to watch. Can't wait til he is back on the court. I also can't wait for Love to get over his hand injury/shooting woes of present. Was shocking against the Nuggets yesterday.

Also, is anybody else loving the disaster of the Frankenstein Lakers' season at the moment? Feel for Kobe kind of, because he is still putting up huge numbers and trying to carry, but I have no love for the Lakers. It's a joy to see.

What did he actually publicly say?

I also feel sorry for Kobe, Howard and Nash weren't the solution to get another championship for the Lakers, still by far one of my favourite players to watch though, so do watch the Lakers for time to time.

Here's the link to one of the news stories, pretty much sums up what he said, and what he said in the aftermath.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...es-happy-with-minnesota-timberwolves/1764909/

Perhaps it's all hyperbole from the media, but Kevin Love is probably the main reason I watch the Timberwolves now, so if there's any substance to it Minnesota fans would be a bit stung I think. It's basically just David Khan being incompetent (surprise) and Kevin Love telling it how he is, unsatisfied with contract negotiations.

And absolutely, Kobe is a generational player, great to watch. Nash is one of my favourite players too - want to see him come back. Howard - well he's good, but going by his trade saga, he seems rather petulant. But being a follower of the Celtics over that whole rivalry, Lakers just don't sit well for me haha, so, I'm quietly content with their trade misfires and trying to buy a championship side backfiring.

T'Wolves getting it done on the road baby! Hopefully we hang on to win, especially over New Orleans!!

We seem to have finally gotten our shooting spread down pat. Six players over 11 points again; Pekovic with 31. Can't wait for Rubio's return.
he will play against the mavs
