Murray is a douche. And I hope he doesn't win any more GS's (sadly, probably a pipe dream). The first time I watched him live was his match against Tsonga at the Aus open in the first round, whatever year that was (08? cbf checking), which he lost. It was a good day.
Hopefully now he's won one, he'll think there is more pressure on him to win another, and he just fails constantly .

Always good to go to the AO. Hopefully I end up going.

I probably just explained it completely wrong, but whatever it was it ****ing hurt; that's all I know.

So do I. To be honest, I'd be content if none of the big four ever won another slam. It's not that I don't like them (especially Novak; he's one of my favourites), I would just like to see tennis be a bit more unpredictable again. Fingers crossed Tsonga wins one (or four ) next year.

Too many losses getting to his head I think. Have you watched him lately? He's just got no confidence in himself or his weapons. Used to be my favourite player to watch.

Good effort by Tomic. Hate the douche but have to give him credit where due. Played a good game and got himself out of a 6-1 tiebreak deficit to win the set 7-6 (8-6). Bit of luck giving Aus the win. Barty played well though. Gonna be a ripper.

Gajdosova playing very well. Vinci is still too good for her, but good signs for Jarmila. Hope she goes far.

EDIT: Scratch that, she just destroyed Vinci in that set. Playing fantastically. Slow court is doing wonders for her game. Pity she'll have to play Sharapova next round if she wins...

It's so hard to cheer Tomic on, since he's a massive douche, but he did play pretty well. Haas helped him a bit by choking massiveyl with a few double faults.

Yep, I loved it when he could play like that. Unfortunately he just struggles to find the court and wanders around the court half-heartedly. Just has no confidence anymore for some reason.

There was a headline about Hewitt the other day, something along the lines of, "FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS, HEWITT FIT FOR AUSTRALIAN OPEN." I laughed my head off as I remember reading that headline for at least the past two years.

Knowing Aussies' luck with draws he'll face Djokovic first round anyway.

Not at this stage. I'm in the same dilemma as my bulldogs membership, no one to go with . If I do end up going, it will probably only be for the 1 day with entry to RLA.

Damn sucks sorry to hear about it. Getting centre court tickets are always hit and miss, specially within the first few rounds. Would rather a 3-day ground pass and just hang out at Margaret Court and Showcourts 1-2.

To be honest I don't really either, only if certain players are on court.

Might be going to Rod Laver with mates on the 24th to see men's semi 1 and the exhibition match. Not sure yet though; otherwise we'll be going 4th round/QF.

Yeah, true. I've had a few definite misses in previous years with it. But it's great if you get a good match.
Ground pass is always good. Due to it's good price, I may be able to coax someone into coming with me with it .

I think they're great, get to see heaps more games, good price and you get a pretty mean tan while watching the tennis! win win win situation!!

I can't stand her screeching. It's ridiculous and (from my experience of playing tennis) completely unnecessary.

That said I don't watch much tennis these days. It hurts not being competitive in the Davis Cup. We used to be a powerhouse

Understandable . It doesn't bother me much, personally.
