It depends what release games there are tbh. It's best to, but if I have the money and there're a couple of great releases, it's mine.

Seriously good game, and i'm hardly any of the way through it yet. It's just so much fun. Legend of Zelda mixed with Pokemon (which I think someone said in the NNK thread) describes it perfectly.

Have you played ICO or Shadow of the Colossus (in my top 3 games of all time. Possibly #1)? It's by the same people that made them.



It's about a kid trying to escape the castle in the trailer, and you develop a bond with the creature (a gryphon, maybe?) and work with it to get out.
I imagine the gameplay will be similar to ICO and SotC, but that doesn't explain much if you haven't played them .
It's going to be great.

You should be excited about NNK. It's so good. Putting it to the front of the line is perfectly reasonable

Haha, it's definitely not an easy thing to do. Hard to compare all the different genres since you want different things out of, say, a sports game and a FPS.
My top three is pretty definitive at the moment, though:
#1: Heavy Rain
#2: Silent Hill 2
#3: Far Cry 3
After that it becomes a cluster**** of far too many games, haha. It's also skewed towards more recent games because as technology increases you expect more. The Spyro games would be very, very high up on my list though.

Sweet, I might just grab the newest one when it comes out.

My backlog is actually embarrassing, haha. The amount of money I've spent on games I haven't played yet...

Kinda over games a bit now, used to maul through the various COD's and stuff, but just getting it over, too similar I suppose. Didn't help that the BF3 update took overnight to download, puts me off playing that game just for that reason!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! They're really big news with their streak. I was just telling my 87 year old mum today that the Blackhawk t-shirts which I convinced her to buy for my nephew and nephew-in-law for Christmas (and meant to be a bit of a joke since I didn't think the season would eventuate,) turned out to be pretty nice gifts after all. I bought my nephew a replica of the Stanley Cup for his birthday after they won three years ago. I told him that when the Bulldogs win the Premiership, he has to reciprocate. I live in hope.

Bit early to be going with "grampa", Stringy . I was doing it with Warcraft 2 as well (although I was a youngen at the time), and I don't think i'm near the grampa stage yet!

Nice. To be honest it's a kind of game I've never really played before, looking at it. Super pumped though, it looks like something I'll really enjoy.

It's just a fun game. Pure fun. I'd be shocked if you didn't enjoy it. Start is a bit slow, and some bits the cut scenes go for ages, but I don't mind that.

It's worth it for how cheap the games are, though. Plus it gives me a chance to complete the numbing of my brain by beating this monotonous and repetitive game.

Surely the cut scenes can't be as bad as say, MGS4, haha.

Yeah, I like ozgameshop. They helped me get Mortal Kombat due to our (formerly) shithouse classification laws .
How much was NNK on there?

I was never a MGS man, so I don't know . Some are pretty long though, and then they go into another non-playable bit with the characters talking in just text.

$60, so I was pretty happy with that.

Ah okay, MGS4 was an absolute shocker with cutscenes. Didn't get very far in 'til I got frustrated as hell. That was mostly to do with the story not really interesting me though...I mean Heavy Rain is my favourite game ever and that's mostly an interactive cutscene, haha.

I'm surprised how much I like some of the familiars in NNK. Some have ridiculous names, and some look completely stupid, but there are some pretty awesome ones in there. You get attached to them like in Pokemon, although not to that extent

Such a phenomenal game though, I can't stress how incredible it was imo.

I don't understand Melbourne very well, but here in Geelong, there is such thing as a bus haha.

I think my brother has a copy. He used to, anyway. Knowing him, it's probably long gone by now. It's probably cheap now though, so I'll pick it up eventually. I remember I liked what little of it I did play, so I assume I'll enjoy the whole game.
