I am never in control when it comes to games. I watched the PS4 announcement press conference and afterwards all my brain was thinking was, "I need all of those games on release." I'm a lost cause.

I pour them out to avoid that.

Yeah, I suck at doing that. I'm actually hopeless, it's really bad.

You have no idea how OCD I am about the neat little stack. I pour them out about 5 at a time and make sure they're still in a perfect stack in my hand. Nothing more annoying than when they're broken and not perfect.

... Yeah, I have a lot of issues.

They increased the servers and took out a few features to allow it to run.

so very happy with the game.

Has it got any better? first game I have considered forking out money for in years, but the launch issues put me off a bit

it's gotten a lot better, the servers have increased and i am finding now problem getting onto a server to play the game on Oceanic 2.

highly recommended if you enjoy city building games.

Haha yeah. My one of my friend is like that. 30 minutes out in the sun and he singes. Still as pale as a ghost. There's always the oompa loompa route for ya. And yea, I usually lose a couple of tones during winter anyway.

So I have this illegitimate and dodgy Foxtel connection in my room. Basically we have the one box downstairs in the living room, and it's beamed up to my room through an infrared signal to avoid having to buy another Foxtel box. The picture is a bit pixely and occasionally the sound crackles, but it does its job.

Tonight, the crackling is really severe. The only way I can get it to work is by moving around on my bed. I have no idea how it works, but as long as I'm moving around on the bed, the sound stops crackling.

Is my TV telling me to have more sex?

Funnily enough, Foxtel have already seen it. A guy came out to install IQ a while back, saw the sensor, held it up to me and commented, "I'm going to pretend I didn't see this, but you really should've hidden it before I came out."

I really want to, but uni is kicking my ass and I spend too much of my free time on here/other forum I moderate.

Might get around to it this weekend, but it's unlikely. Study session with mates tomorrow, work I need to get done on Saturday and a grand prix shindig on Sunday...will try to fit in some NNK, just to make you happy.

You need to do it. I'm coming up on the end now, and the story is just so bloody great. One of my favourite stories in games ever.
Have had to do a bit of grinding lately, but i'm just excited for the end, so it doesn't bother me

Stop making me want to play games instead of study. You're a bad influence.
The other issue is that we're getting an extension right next to the room with the PS3 in it, so trying to play with that noise going on is impossible.

I do love story games, am definitely looking forward to it. Are the cutscenes really long?

You definitely need no sound distractions. The music is the kind you need to listen to, and immerses you in the game more.

Some cutscenes are really long, but you don't get bored. They're interesting the whole way through. I haven't had a bored moment during the whole game, as of yet.
I don't want to pump it up too much, and raise your expectations too high, but I just really love this game

Yeah, I figured it'd be an atmospheric kinda game and don't really want to sacrifice that. Only problem is the extension probably won't be done for over a month...

That's awesome, I'm glad. I love cutscenes as long as they're relevant and interesting, otherwise I'm just gonna turn the game off. So excited to play this.
