Could be a good idea. If someone offers to run it, we could have a weekly or fortnightly trivia night. Or whenever people want.

What I was thinking was something along the lines of "DylanW wants to know why we traded pick #6 for Lochlan Veale" and the first person to answer gets a point - inspired by the friendly rivalry between you and Dan to answer first. So like if someone has a relatively objective footy question that's the place to post it and the first person to answer gets a point. Just an idea but I thought it could be a bit of fun

The trivia night idea is also sweet, although I'm not sure how it could be structured. Maybe in the same way as I was thinking, questions are posted by a the organizer and the first person to answer gets a point (or maybe a couple as it's the Trivia night and depending on difficulty)?

Either one would be good I think. Obviously would need a volunteer to organise it and run it if we went down the "trivia night" path .

Yeah so it creates a place for random questions to be posted and puts a bit of fun into answering them. That way it helps out people who have questions (mainly me ) and recognises the people that answer them at the end of the season.

I think the trivia night idea is equally cool, maybe even a combination of the two could work together in the same comp. So points for answering questions regularly and then a bonus round of sorts where every question is worth a bit more and it's a chance to get ahead. I'd be pretty happy to look after the scoring for a random question and first answer style competition but I honestly don't know if I'd be the best candidate to organize set trivia questions as my knowledge is not the best on the board!

You sound like me in my earlier Uni days, I've now taken to studying externally so I can do what I want when I want. Unfortunately I'm still posed with the question of 'Do I want to do it?'

Haha, my main issue is just that I rarely learn from people standing up and telling me what to do, I have to be actively doing something...so when I'm behind on study, I'd rather stay home and do my own thing.

Sufjan is brillo, I was just thinking of throwing a music post in here to see what people liked/get more recommendations.

Illinoise is a spectacular album, so beautifully crafted. One of my all time favs. Haven't seen him live yet, but will, one day.

I saw him live in 2007, probably the best concert I've ever been. Yeah that's a great album, he's got a knack for not only making great music but putting all his music together so it flows really well.
